Have I used that title before? I feel like I have. If in fact I did, scratch it, because this has been the longest week ever. It started out going good, typical and steady. Then, the world stopped turning.
My husband was sick. Unfortunately, when that happens, my job as his wife turns into my job as his mother. I have to all but beg him to get his ass to the doctor. Finally Tuesday afternoon I finally convinced him he should go, to make sure he didn't have 'the swine'. Yes, I'm serious.
They decided he had bronchitis. Not 'the swine' - thank goodness. But because he's had bronchitis twice now, in less than 6 months, he needed a chest x-ray. Oh joy. And also, due to some of his symptoms and the fact that his 41 year old brother just had a heart attack he also needed cholesterol test, an ekg and the lovely upcoming stress test.
He was told to stay home for two days, one of which was his birthday. Happy Fkn Birthday, you're sick!
Due to the scheduling of some of the tests, my schedule at work was a little flip floppy. Due to his birthday, and our plans for the evening, I also had to take some time away from work to make everything flow well. I made it through those two days, and one would think with all the time here and there that I wasn't at work, that I'd myself feel rested and refreshed.
Not a snowball's chance in hell. I'm fkn exhausted. I want to sleep, sleep and then sleep some more. I want to not be woken to his coughing or snoring that he denies and just sleep for a solid, I don't know, 5 hours. I'll take 5 hours of constant sleep and stop bitching, I swear I will.
Oh well. Don't know why I'm bitching at all. He's feeling better, and if that made me a little uncomfortable for a few days, who cares? I'm his wife, it's my job to keep him well. at least that's what I've been told! ;)
Busy weekend, game night tonight, Halloween tomorrow, along with a Phillies game! Sunday brings football and game 4 of the series. Busy, busy!!
My photos for this entry:
This picture is of Chase (you can tell him from Daisy because he has a black nose, Daisy's is more pink). It's as disturbing as it is cute...I mean, he's adorable and lovable...but do you see all that extra skin to the left of his neck on the floor? He's already mammoth, he needs to stop growing, but I fear he will fill out even more!
Wish I had gotten this picture before I got the last ones of Bella & Chase. This one has all four snuggling together. From left to right: Chase (yellow), Bella (chocolate and on top of Chase), Buggie (black) & Daisy (yellow)
They are a gorgeous bunch! I love them, big much!

My kids

This is a picture of the two youngins snuggling. When they are irritating each other, this is what they do. Bella is about half the size of Chase, but she holds her own, and then takes the liberty of climbing onto him to catch a few ZzZs.

These are our good old girls. They love being country girls, and out of the 'big city'. They especially love running through the fields and swimming in the pond!

October 16, 2009, Unreal
Fucking snow. Already. Kids will be wearing winter jackets and snow pants under their Halloween costumes. SNOW! Why did we move to a house in the country? Why didn't we move south?
Onto other big news today...we're going grocery shopping.
The end.

Oh Thursday...
How I love you, mostly because you're followed by Friday!
This will be my first weekend, in weeks, that I actually do not have anywhere to go. I get to sleep in on Saturday and lounge around my house until I feel the need for a shower. I'm not positive, but it's quite possible I won't find that need at all.
The weekend at my sister's was fun. We all went to garage sales and dickered with people to get cheap things even cheaper. We had sushi. We spent time visiting and watched football. My sister has a really cute house, I can't wait for her to fill it with babies! :P
To get to her house, we had to climb the mountain of all mountains. Tailynn and I sang "Rollercoaster" up and down both sides of it. The view was splendid and scary all at the same time. Pictures of it in the next entry, because I don't feel like dealing with blogger being a dick with my html stuff.
I have my Christmas cards, and have the list of recipients ready. Is it wrong that I am contemplating writing out Christmas cards before Halloween?

I woke up this morning on my own at 7am. You have no idea how much that annoys me. Being the first one up in our house means you're the lucky asshole that gets to let the dogs out. Now, I must say, it's much easier now at the new house, because we have an area fenced off for them to go. Which means I'm no longer taken for a walk by Chase before I've washed my face or actually gotten to the bathroom to pee. But it still means that I go straight from a warm, comfy bed, to the freezing cold in a matter of seconds. I'm also lucky enough to feed and water all of them. It's joyous, especially on a Saturday morning.
Once all the dog tending was out of the way though, I went out onto our front porch wrapped in my thick, comfy, warm robe with some hot chocolate. I love it out there. I could hear the crows squawking to each other and the creek across the road flowing. This morning however, I was also greeted by two doe and some squirrels and chipmunks. I absolutely love being in the country.
Expect lots of nature photos in the future, because I don't think I'll ever grow tired of the scenery or seeing the wildlife outside of my door.

Knew It.
I knew that this blogging thing would be harder than it used to be when I was single and had nothing better to do, I just didn't realize that it would take me another two months to write one entry though.
We moved last Saturday. From my dumpy little house in town, to a great big farmhouse in the country. I absolutely, positively LOVE it! Things aren't settled yet, matter of fact, I just got the kitchen in order yesterday. We still have tons of boxes to unpack, and decisions to make about where things go and what we want to store in the several closets or HUGE barn we now have.
I couldn't be happier. which i know, makes for a really boring blog! My dogs absolutely love all the area to run and play, and we're already fighting with them daily to stay the hell out of the POND! (did i mention there's a pond?!)
Amber & I are now working out of the old house, watching children, hoping to get a 'drop in' care center going. There are lots of improvements we want to do in the house before we are balls to the wall promoting it. And that's ok, we are really enjoying working with the full time children we have. They are all a little under two years old and are a flipping blast.
Working outside of my home...holy crap!! I knew that I'd enjoy having my home separate from my work, but I didn't realize HOW EFFING MUCH. I love the fact that I can go home to a clean house and start dinner and have a nice relaxing night home with my husband. I love also, that I can come to work every morning to a clean work place and hang out with my best friend, while finger painting and getting dizzy doing ring around the rosie all day!!
Life right now, is good. No, wait, it's not good...it's AmAzInG!!!
